ANTIQUE.....
FANTASTIC CRUDE....FUNKY...."ARIZONA FIGURAL" SHAPED .HAND MADE SOLID COPPER "END OF THE DAY" POUR MINERS TRAY / PAPERWEIGHT / ASH TRAY
which came out of a collection of mining relics mostly from the
mining towns of
CLIFTON & MORENCI, ARIZONA...but as this one just says "ARIZ" could be from Bisbee, Douglas, Ajo, Globe Miami etc.....
THIS IS LAST ONE I HAVE TO OFFER....AND THE ONLY WAY WHERE "ARIZ" IS SPELLED OUT ON LONG END OF THE TRAY
THIS IS JUST A TERRIFIC OLD MINERS TRAMP ART "END OF THE DAY" POUR RELIC...IT OBVIOUSLY NOT LOOK MASS PRODUCED, IT IS UNIQUE AND OBVIOUSLY CRUDELY MADE......CAME OUT OF A COLLECTION OF ARIZONA MINING COLLECTIBLES....
This was displayed with Arizona mining items like ingots....copper specimens....relics mostly from the copper mines in Arizona......just love that it is totally unique
Note that this is very heavy for its size....about 225 grams....solid copper.....I know that Phelps Dodge was a major mining company in the Clifton / Morenci region of Arizona (Greenlee County)..these were made into ashtrays or cups, star shaped, arizona shaped....miner made art at the end of shift...this one looks old
These mining relics are rare to find today....believe this displays really well, and is crudely made, and imperfect...that is what makes it display so well, and very collectible....and it weighs a stout 225 grams or 8.8 ounces !!
Funky "end of day pour" miner's tray is solid copper metal, Arizona figural shaped, about  1" tall x 2 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" long  ...seems in great condition. It weighs a hefty 225 grams....in great condition, has in no way been cleaned....was displayed with Arizona mining relics (took photo next to a silver dollar to show scale)
