Cairns Leather Fire Helmet DCFD?

Description

Up for sale is a Cairns leather fire helmet. Helmet appears to possibly be DCFD Engine 1 but I’m not certain. I purchased this on eBay years ago with no background information so I can’t guarantee which department it came from. Helmet no longer has scroll work and was painted black over the original yellow paint. The liner is also starting to separate from the shell. Helmet is missing all stickers. Size is medium. Overall it makes a good display piece.
